Nevada State Bank and its parent company, Zions Bancorporation, recently received 13 Greenwich Excellence Awards based on an extensive survey by Greenwich Associates, located in Stamford, Connecticut.

The banks selected to receive the prestigious Greenwich Excellence Awards are determined by more than 30,000 market research interviews with company leaders in the U.S.More than 750 banks were evaluated by Greenwich Associates. Only 51 of those institutions received these notable awards, and of those 51 banks, only 11 received more than 10 Excellence Awards.

David Heiner of Greenwich Associates, stated, “Winning a 2012 Greenwich Excellence Award continues to be the highest accomplishment a bank can achieve, especially in this current lending and service market. There is no question that the service bar has been raised across the national landscape. In order for banks to differentiate themselves from top competitors, they need to continue to go above and beyond traditional service levels.

“By winning 13 total awards, Zions Bancorporation and Nevada State Bank exemplify superior service, which is rooted with a customer-first mentality and local management. Their service model, with relationship managers who are acutely knowledgeable of local companies and the industries they play in, continually proves to be ideal for providing quality advice and fast problem resolution.“

Greenwich Excellence Awards in Small Business and Middle Market Banking

Each year, Greenwich Associates surveys decision makers at companies across the U.S.to evaluate each of the banks they use in a variety of categories, in order to benchmark market share, as well as the quality of banking products and services in the marketplace.

The results of this research are used to determine the winners of the Greenwich Banking Excellence Awards. The U.S. Small Business Banking Research Study asks decision makers from more than 17,000 businesses, with $1-10 million in annual sales, to name the banks they use, and rate them in 13 banking and treasury management categories.

The U.S. Middle Market Banking Research Study asks decision makers from more than 14,000 businesses, with $10-500 million in annual sales, to name the banks they use, and rate them in 13 banking and treasury management categories.  Recognition is based on the input provided by business leaders who actually use banking services to conduct daily business activities.
