Here are just a few of the results we found:

  • Government regulation was cited as the most important challenge facing small businesses.
  • Nearly two-thirds of respondents think Nevada’s economy is headed in the right direction.
  • Almost 6 in 10 Nevada employers are concerned about hiring and retaining quality employees, and about a quarter of them are very concerned.
  • More than 53% of Nevada small businesses think the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) has affected them negatively.
  • Almost 7 in 10 of respondents believe the state’s recent economic development initiatives (incentives, tax credits, etc.) will have a positive impact on the state’s economy.
